Power, Voltage, and Size: Matching Heat to Space
Here’s the thing about mobile glass rigs: there’s no room for bulky heaters. So we squeezed the output into a compact shape that actually makes sense on a truck. It’s a high-density infrared source, so you get fast, focused heat without needing a giant footprint. We set it up to run on a limited voltage range that matches what you typically have on site, but it still hits the temperature curve needed for a clean, solid seal. And the shape? Short and tight. Quartz Tube, Halogen Element, and R7s Connection
Inside, you’ve got a quartz glass tube with a halogen infrared element. Quartz is tough—it handles rapid heating and cooling cycles while keeping the whole thing small.
