What It’s Made Of
We chose a halogen-filled quartz envelope because it can take the heat. Seriously. It holds up to those scorching filament temperatures and throws out intense, focused infrared radiation. The tube has a special coating, too, to keep the heat output steady and to handle those sudden temperature swings without cracking. And for the connection, we went with the standard R7s two-terminal connector. It’s solid, secure, and won’t loosen up, even with constant vibration. Everything is sealed tight to an IP44 rating.
