Introduction
Ever stepped into a changing room or a service area that felt like a refrigerator? That bone-deep chill that just makes you want to hurry up and get out? We felt that pain, too. So we built a heating table that cuts straight to the chase. It’s IP44 waterproof, so it doesn’t flinch at moisture, and it runs on a high-output halogen infrared lamp. The whole point? To blast away the cold in seconds. No waiting around for stuffy air to slowly warm up. Just immediate, comforting radiant heat that turns a shivering space into a stable, warm zone.
The Power Behind the Heat
Here’s the deal: this unit runs on a 400V high-voltage input. Why does that matter? Because it lets us pack a serious punch into a surprisingly small package. We’re talking up to 2500W of power, all squeezed into a standard 300mm tube. That’s a lot of heat density. The 400V setup also pulls less current than lower voltage options, which means your wiring is simpler and you get less voltage drop over distance. Just one thing to keep in mind—all that power generates heat. So, your machine’s cooling system needs to be ready to handle the extra warmth.
What It’s Made Of
We chose a halogen-filled quartz envelope because it can take the heat. Seriously. It holds up to those scorching filament temperatures and throws out intense, focused infrared radiation. The tube has a special coating, too, to keep the heat output steady and to handle those sudden temperature swings without cracking. And for the connection, we went with the standard R7s two-terminal connector. It’s solid, secure, and won’t loosen up, even with constant vibration. Everything is sealed tight to an IP44 rating. That means it’s protected from splashing water and dust, so the electronics stay dry and safe, even in humid, messy environments.
Where It Shines: Changing Rooms and Beyond
Let’s be honest. The biggest headache in changing rooms and service bays is the wait. With traditional convection heaters, you’re just waiting for the air to slowly heat up and circulate. Our heating table is different. It radiates heat directly onto people and surfaces. You feel the warmth almost instantly. It’s a noticeable difference in seconds. That speed means people can get changed and back to work faster, and honestly, it just makes the whole space feel more comfortable. The IP44 waterproof build makes it a no-brainer for tough environments where reliability is everything. It’s designed to be installed easily, keep running without a hitch, and require minimal fuss when it comes to maintenance.
